Perrier-Jouët is proud to announce excellent scores for two Belle Epoque cuvées awarded by expert, impartial judges at the International Wine Challenge 2024 (IWC). The IWC is a highly important blind-tasting competition on both the local UK market, as well as the
international stage. Medals awarded by the IWC are markers of guaranteed quality to consumers and trade professionals alike. The goal of the judging process is to assure complete fairness throughout evaluation, allowing all wines to be tasted without bias. The competition is structured to ensure that wines are afforded the opportunity to shine without any external factors implicating the judging process.

Commenting on the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc De Blancs 2012, judges noted “lively freshness and harmonious mousse” in this quintessential expression of Chardonnay in the style of Maison Perrier-Jouët. As regards Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Brut 2013, the judges commented on the champagne’s impressive
balance, describing the cuvée as “a wine with forward energy balancing acid and body”.
